They switched it to a 10 foot and it worked. I haven’t got the problem PC updated yet due to the internet connection problem I’m having with that machine. Usually the usb host to host bridge is part of the usb component of the mobo. Formatted the drive and reinstalled xp and all the latest drivers including via 4in1. Forums New posts Search forums.

I’ve downloaded the newest drivers for the Epson Stylus C42 but that doesn’t work either. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

It is of course. Sometimes the printer bride and sometimes it doesn’t. So now all the yellow exclamation marks are out of my Device Manager. I the retruned the Email and am waiting for a reply.
Justintime Moderator Sep 28, You could also check the msi website for updated usb drivers. It is small, under a meg so you can get it to the machine on diskette. At this point, sounds like you have little to lose by trying this driver.
Remember I asked “Let’s not go there Since the host bridge is on the mobo, I owuld check the cd that came with your mobo for drivers. I also downloaded an updated BIOS, but am afraid to install.

I downloaded and loaded the 4in1 drivers and rebooted, but that didn’t solve the problem. It requires some type of driver to function properly in windows. Usually this is not part of the 4 in 1 drivers, but is in the usb section or in the chipset driver that comes with many motherboards.

Just got back from the msi website. I’ve been on the phone with the tech and he walked me through ohst dozen different variables and it still won’t go. Let’s not go there That device is now operating properly according to Windows Hello Justintime I did install the drivers off the MSI mobo cd and windows said it wasn’t a signed driver, blah Or bail me out before my Activation countdown explodes?
